Theme Capital Limited obtained its license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) on 8 January 2025, marking the official commencement of its asset management business in Hong Kong. In June 2025, the firm launched its first fund, with an initial assets under management (AUM) of approximately HKD 180 million. Subsequently, in November 2025, its second fund commenced operations with an AUM of around HKD 120 million. In the same month of June 2025, the company was also officially approved as a Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI), enabling it to participate directly in investment activities within mainland China’s capital markets.
