Mr Stanley TAO, the founder and CIO of Golden Nest Capital, is a legendary fund manager. He transitioned from musician to professional investor in the early 1990s, possessing over 33 years of investment experience. He has weathered four bull and bear market cycles in China equity market, developing an extreme aversion to risk and the ability to identify and mitigate various major risks. In 2004, he founded Sichuan Golden Nest and launched one of the earliest onshore private funds in Southwest China, achieving positive returns even during the 2008 subprime crisis. In 2017, he founded Golden Nest Capital Mgt (HK), the offshore investment manager, becoming one of the earliest China asset managers to go overseas.
