Manulife Investment Management announced today that Marc Franklin has been promoted to Head of Multi-Asset Solutions in Asia. He will continue to report to Luke Browne, the Global Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, and work closely with the investment and distribution teams in the region. Franklin will lead the next phase of growth for the company's multi-asset solutions platform in Asia, overseeing the development and delivery of strategic, tactical, and outcome-oriented multi-asset investment solutions for retail, retirement, and institutional channel clients. According to the investment manager, this appointment reflects the company's continued commitment to enhancing its multi-asset investment capabilities in Asia, as the demand for outcome-oriented and diversified investment solutions continues to grow in the region. Information shows that Franklin joined Manulife Investment Management in 2021 as a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for asset allocation, with over 20 years of experience in multi-asset investing. Since joining the company, he has played a key role in strengthening the multi-asset capabilities in Asia, working closely with clients and internal teams to deepen client engagement, support solution-driven strategic development, and drive the continued growth of the regional multi-asset platform. Prior to joining Manulife Investment Management, Franklin served as Head of Flexible Multi-Asset at NN Investment Partners in the Netherlands, responsible for global multi-asset funds and related mandates, covering absolute return, total return, and benchmark-relative strategies. Early in his career, he held senior investment positions at Conning Asia Pacific, J.P. Morgan Asset Management, Henderson Global Investors, and Nevsky Capital.
