Recently, the China Securities Investment Fund Industry Association released the "National Public Fund Market Investor Status Survey Report (2022)". The survey data shows that among public fund investment types, equity funds and hybrid funds are more prominent. In 2022, more than six out of ten individual investors surveyed (65.6%) chose regular equity funds (excluding index funds) as their main investment type in public funds, while 43.3% chose hybrid funds (equity-oriented). The above survey shows that the proportions of other bond funds (excluding index funds), passive or enhanced index funds (excluding ETF), and hybrid funds (balanced) are 29.9%, 27.7%, and 22.9% respectively. 22.4%, 18.7%, 13.4% of investors choose ETFs, money market funds, and hybrid funds (bond-oriented) respectively; the proportions of investors choosing FOF funds, QDII funds, and other types of funds are all less than 10%.
