UBS Asset Management: The current yield of Asian financial bonds is 5.9%.
Asian financial bonds are mainly issued by banks, currently yielding 5.9%, 40 basis points higher than Asian investment grade bonds and 30 basis points higher than US financial bonds, which is quite attractive.
The latest report released by the UBS Wealth Management Investment Director's Office pointed out that for investors looking to enhance returns, Asian financial bonds offer a relatively good opportunity for yield improvement compared to Asian investment-grade bonds and US financial bonds. Asian financial bonds, mainly consisting of banks, currently have a yield of 5.9%, which is 40 basis points higher than Asian investment-grade bonds and 30 basis points higher than US financial bonds, making them quite attractive. The report stated that in the past three months, benefiting from short covering and market acceleration towards Chinese stock rotation, the MSCI China Index has outperformed almost all major emerging and developed market indices. Furthermore, UBS Wealth Management also pointed out that corporate governance reforms have been continuously contributing to the returns of Japanese stocks, adding new momentum to the bullish trend in Japan. With this positive reflection in the annual reports, the Nikkei Index has recovered over half of its lost ground from mid-March until now.
