On June 24th, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China International and the Taiping Financial Holdings jointly managed the ICBC Taiping US Dollar Fund, reaching a strategic cooperation agreement with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation. This cooperation signifies a strong alliance between ICBC International, Taiping Financial Holdings, and the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks in financial empowerment, technological innovation, and park ecology. The three parties will deepen integration through financial capital, technological innovation, and industrial resources, jointly promoting industrial upgrading and economic structural optimization, injecting new vitality into the development of Hong Kong and the regional economy. According to the agreement, the three parties will leverage the strengths of ICBC International and Taiping Financial Holdings in overseas financial markets, as well as the industrial resources advantage of the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation in the field of science and technology innovation, to enhance synergies. Firstly, they will host high-quality exchange activities irregularly to jointly build a platform for science and technology innovation and finance summits. Secondly, they will provide diversified financing channels and industry empowerment opportunities for science and technology enterprises, including but not limited to providing business opportunities in the industrial chain, direct investment, financing guidance, due diligence, investor referrals, etc., to accelerate the transformation of scientific achievements and commercialization. Thirdly, they will recommend excellent science and technology enterprises to join the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks ecosystem, continuously optimizing and strengthening the eco-system of the park.
