Hong Kong investors can use this ETF as an investment tool to invest in US mid-term treasury bonds during local trading hours. Future Assets stated that US treasury bonds are typically considered low-risk assets. Recently, US treasury bond yields have been at historical highs since the global financial crisis, and mid-term US treasury bonds provide a balanced choice between returns and volatility amid interest rate fluctuations. With market expectations rising for a rate cut in 2024, bond prices are expected to rise, and many investors are starting to deploy US treasury bonds to gain price and return benefits.
