On July 26th, the China Securities Investment Fund Association disclosed that as of June 2024, there were 811 newly registered private equity funds with a total registered capital of 273.20 billion yuan. Among them, there were 556 private equity securities investment funds with a registered capital of 133.48 billion yuan, 92 private equity equity investment funds with a registered capital of 76.75 billion yuan, and 163 venture capital funds with a registered capital of 62.97 billion yuan. As of the end of June, there were a total of 151,257 existing private equity funds with a total capital of 19.89 trillion yuan. Among them, there were 95,088 existing private equity securities investment funds with a total capital of 5.20 trillion yuan, 30,796 existing private equity equity investment funds with a total capital of 10.98 trillion yuan, and 24,344 existing venture capital funds with a total capital of 3.26 trillion yuan.
