Global X ETFs: optimistic about the Indian stock market in the next year. This market has the potential to issue ETFs.
I am optimistic about the Indian stock market in the next year, believing that this market has the potential to issue ETFs, while GlobalX currently does not have any related products.
Mirae Asset Global Investments (Hong Kong) and Global X ETFs launched the GlobalX Asia Dollar Investment Grade Bond ETF (03075) in October last year. Zhang Ziming, the director of Global X investment program, said that the company is optimistic about the Indian stock market in the coming year, as it has the potential to issue ETFs. However, GlobalX does not currently have any related products. On January 10th, the SEC approved 11 companies to issue virtual asset ETFs in the United States. Although Hong Kong had previously allowed the issuance of virtual asset ETFs, Zhang Ziming did not respond to whether the company would issue such ETFs. He mentioned that although Hong Kong has not issued virtual asset ETFs, the group has 500 ETFs globally, including virtual asset ETFs in Australia and related ETFs in the blockchain sector. It is reported that Global X has two ETFs listed in Hong Kong, including Asian Dollar Bonds and Asian Semiconductor Bonds. Zhang Ziming pointed out that 40% of the Global X Asian Dollar Bonds ETF consists of Chinese stocks, with a large portion being in the financial and energy sectors. The ETF has currently reached a size of 20 million USD. Zhang Ziming believes that the stock markets in mainland China and Hong Kong will be more volatile this year. He recommends that investors consider defensive and high-yield stocks, such as utilities, telecommunications, and financial stocks, which are mostly state-owned enterprises. Public information shows that Global X ETFs is a New York-based ETF provider dedicated to helping clients access investment opportunities in global markets. The company was founded in 2008 and manages assets of approximately 40 billion USD, covering more than 80 different products. The ETF issuer and manager are known for their thematic growth, income, and international product suites, as well as core, commodity, and alpha strategies.
