According to media reports, an internal memo from Morgan Stanley shows that JPMorgan has hired Zhang Yi, Managing Director of Goldman Sachs Investment Banking, as Co-Head of Investment Banking in China. He will join JPMorgan this summer. A JPMorgan spokesperson has confirmed the contents of the memo. Zhang Yi joined Goldman Sachs in 2007 and was promoted to Managing Director in 2017. LinkedIn profile shows that Zhang Yi received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Renmin University of China in 2002 and a Master's degree in Finance from Peking University in 2004.
