According to the announcement, Mr. Ma Lei will be based in Hong Kong, serving as a core member of the China stock team and as the deputy to Mr. Shi Bin, Head of China Stocks, to assist in advancing the team's strategic positioning and execution in stock investments in China and the Greater China region.
Prior to joining UBS Asset Management, Mr. Ma Lei served as the Chief Investment Officer for Invesco in China and Hong Kong, responsible for formulating and managing various investment strategies in China and the Greater China region. During this time, he accumulated rich cross-market investment experience and established a strong track record in active stock management.
In his earlier career, Mr. Ma Lei worked at Fidelity International for about 15 years, focusing on Chinese stock portfolio management and having a deep understanding of the local market and industry developments.
