Chairman of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Huang Tianyou: The trend of asset diversification is becoming increasingly apparent, and the listing of the Southern Eastern Gold ETF is well-timed.
Huang Tianyou said that the current global situation is evolving rapidly, and the trend of diversified asset allocation is becoming increasingly clear. The listing of the Southern East English Gold ETF is right on time.
On April 21, Dr. Carlson Tong, chairman of the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong, stated at the listing ceremony of the Southern SOUNTH EAST ASIAN GOLD ETF that the current global situation is evolving rapidly, and the trend towards diversified asset allocation is becoming increasingly evident. The gold ETF listed today can be said to be timely. Gold ETFs not only provide investors with convenient and efficient channels for gold allocation, but also help to further enhance Hong Kong's influence in the global gold pricing system. Dr. Carlson Tong stated that a mature international financial center, like a top symphony orchestra, is never a solo performance by a single institution or product, but an ecosystem of diverse participants playing in harmony. Only when exchanges, financial institutions, fund managers, and others actively participate can spot markets, risk hedging tools, and fund products work together and resonate in harmony, showing resilience and vitality in the market. It is hoped that the industry will continue to demonstrate creativity and courage, seize major opportunities brought by national development, continuously improve Hong Kong's financial product system, and further enhance Hong Kong's position as an international financial center.
