On June 24, the China Securities Investment Fund Association () released a brief report on the operation of enterprise asset securitization business filings in May 2024. According to the disclosure, in May, a total of 109 enterprise asset securitization products were filed and confirmed, with a total new filing size of 860.37 billion yuan. The new filing size in May increased by 10.98% compared to the previous month, but decreased by 19.87% compared to the same period last year. Based on the primary classification of underlying assets, in May, debt-based products had a new filing size of 805.43 billion yuan; future operating income products had a new filing size of 44.16 billion yuan; REITs products had a new filing size of 9.43 billion yuan; and other products had a new filing size of 1.35 billion yuan. Based on the secondary classification of underlying assets, the total new filing size of four types of products - financing lease debt, accounts receivable, small loan debt, and infrastructure fee - accounted for 89.4% of the monthly filing size. Distribution of existing product underlying assets As of the end of May 2024, there were 2,259 existing enterprise asset securitization products, with a total existing size of 19,417.58 billion yuan - an increase of 0.08% compared to the previous month. Based on the secondary classification of underlying assets, the total existing size of accounts receivable, commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), financing lease debt, real estate ABS, small loan debt, and infrastructure public REITs products was 16,919.47 billion yuan, accounting for 87.13% of the total existing size. The total existing size of other categories such as infrastructure fees, affordable housing, and factoring financing debt was 2,498.11 billion yuan, accounting for 12.87% of the total existing size.
